AutoCAD 2008 Electric
I am new to Electric. After the initial installation, I found that I wanted to insert a power supply in my drawing. I looked in “Insert Components” and found that there was no power supplies imbedded with any of the icons. After going through the “Help” screens and “Google” I was able to create a new icon on the “Insert Components” screen. I then looked at the Microsoft Access program “default_cat.mdb” program and found that under the table heading of “PW” all of their power supplies were listed. I then re-read the help files and they all said that to add a new record to the catalog data base open a similar type of object and add a component. I could find nothing that deals with adding a new “Table” entry in the “Insert Components” screen.
Any help would be great.
