AutoCAD 2009 prevent context toolbars from appearing minimized on the Ribbon

I'm settling into the ribbon and I'm finding it agreeable minimized. My only complaint is that the context toolbars that pop up (like text editor, table editor, block editor, etc.) also turn up minimized on the ribbon. Has anybody discovered a way to get these to show up in plain view as a floating toolbar or the like, or is this a wishlist item?

I know what you mean. It bugs me too sometimes that I have to truck halfway across the screen to pick a function. I haven't found a way of making them float either.
