Does anyone have an idea what is going on with this curtain wall? there is a void in it that I am not able to remove. I am not able to edit the profile of the wall or add segments to the mullions to fill in void. Any suggestions?

This looks like a curtain system (I can see the red dashed lines around the void). If you create the curtain system by selecting a face, the profile and therefore the void are being driven by the face. You'll have to find if there's maybe a mass that you used to create the curtain system and then edit it to correct its shape and hit Remake the system to recreate the curtain system.

i checked and it was created as a wall rather than a curtain system by face of mass. i thought that i should be able to edit the profile to correct this problem but there is no option to do so.

thanks for you suggestion

Are you sure? If it was created as a curtain wall (exterior glazing, storefront, etc...) you should be able to select it and the option Edit profile will be there. I just did it here.

Also when I look at the image you posted I can only see one red line surrounding it. Usually, when you select curtain systems you have one dashed line surrounding it. When you select a curtain wall, you have 3 dashed lines surrounding it.

When you hover your cursor over the curtain wall, what does Revit says?
