Hello:

Why, when you select a view that has been placed on the sheet, does Revit sometimes return an area that is significantly larger than the view's cropped and annotation cropping regions? What parameter/setting controls this behavior?

This can make it difficult to select and activate a particular view when numerous views are on the same sheet.

Fred,

Are you sure there's no entities on that specific view that are far away from where it is supposed to be? If you go to the view and try ZA (Zoom All), does it centers on the screen?

The size of the viewport when you drag your view into the sheet is related to all the entities on that view. The viewport tries to surround all of them.
