Can this be done? Can a wall have an airspace with a different bottom width than the top width?
Check out the PDF attached for a clearer picture.

Yes. No. Sort of. Not really.

You could add sweeps to the wall to reflect the outer materials. This issue is that the sweeps will have a fixed height. So don't expect too much flexibility from it.

You could also do it out of two objects. The gyp./stud/sheathing is easy. The either model the sloped portion as a face based wall from a mass. Or use a roof as a sloped wall.

We did a tower on a project a couple years back with battered walls like that. It actually had sloping studs to support the stone work, in addition to vertical studs on the interior, but I made the outer part as an in-place blend. Where there were door openings, I placed walls with edited profiles to meet the outer sloping portion.

Below is the original rendering I did back in 2006 I think, and the finished product (photo taken just last week).

That's cool how close to the real thing the rendering looks. Was that rendering done in Revit in 2006 or was it taken out to another product for that. I tried a couple renderings in the past and with the new mental ray and it seems like my sun's not bright enough or something as I can't even get close to some half realistic and not washed out.

That's an Accurender rendering by 'moi', probably done in either Revit 8.1 or 9. ;)
