Hatch Align

I only tried to align a 4" grid but it didn't work - whole object moved. Has this broken?

Is it a model pattern? Only model patterns can be aligned.

However on some objects (can't think of a specific example), even model patterns won't move when you select just one line in the pattern.

Yeah - it's model. I made a simple countertop & used the 4" ceramic tile from our new materials list. That shouldn't matter - but it's constructed w/ model hatch.

Edit - upon further investigation align does work if I'm editing the component. I seem to recall being free to align a pattern at any time.

Whatever.

If it's an in-place family, then yeah you can only move applied model patterns while in the family editor mode.
