Explorer FAMILYS Thumb Nails

I am having some trouble…. I use the windows explore window to find all of my families and content because I can see the thumbnail view of the items that I need ….. Then I drag and drop them in to Revit. I just fired up 2009 and all of my old family thumbnails are that silly purple Revit RFA tag. I will have a hard time with work flow if this stays like this…….. Is there any way to get my thumb nails to show back up?

I notice the same problem the other day.
If you go and resave the family, all will be ok. I just don't have time to be doing that a thousand times.
And luckily when loading a family through Revit, the thumbnails are all there.
