Corridor design - Civil 3D 07

I have a profile, alignmnet, and assembly with the subassemblies attached. I followed the command "create simple corridor". Once I click all three components (profile, alignmnet, and assembly) I can see the process runnning, but the grading on my plan does not reflect the change. I checked under my assembly properties to the construction tab and no input or output values exist from my subassemby, so maybe this is why? Does anyone have an idea of why the corridor is being constructed but will not appear. Thanks!

Corridors are separate from whatever other grading objects you are talking about. When you create a corridor, it will create its own surfaces, if you tell it to do so.

You probably need to add a surface definition on the "Surfaces" tab of the corridor properties. If you don't do that, the corridor will not generate any surfaces.
