Hello everyone...
does anyone know any way how to mask perspective (camera) views?
Neither masking, nor filled region is working in these views, neither it is working on sheet view... Am I missing something? Or any workaround for this?

Thanks for any tip,
Frantisek Stafek.

What are you trying to mask? because, as you have already discovered, you can't use filled regions or mask regions in any 3D view....but if you share what you are trying to accomplish, somebody might be able to help you in a different way...

Just as a side note, I never had to mask anything in 3d view, I just made sure the model looked correct...I have modified specific lines to be of a different thickness, etc...but that is it

Thanks for help, well this is a perspective view - topography is modeled only what I've got from geodetical survey - then from the perspective view is shown everything under the topography / underground, that I want to hide...This is a sketch to show to client, no need to model whole world around the site for this purpose.... Is there any other solution besides masking it in Photoshop?

Attachments show / axonometry from the same angle, then perspective view, then what I want to mask...

you can overlay a Detail View with a white filled region on a sheet over your model
then use activate view to refine ,edit your mask this should work fine in your case

In your Axon view, activate the section box and drag the extents of the section box so they cut the topo. Then you'll see topo fill pattern at the boundary of the section box which will provide the 'mask' you're after.

Thanks a lot!!!! Neither section box nor drafting view didn't come to my mind! Thank you for a solution! Hope some day masking region will work in sheet view as well.
