vaulted ceiling

I would like to place a ceiling in this arch and to go back to the curved wall so I can place some can lights. Dont know what to do.. Some advice would be great. Im still on 9.1 by the way

Roof by Extrusion, built upside down.Or, an In-Place ceiling family.

I hate using tools for their unintended purpose, but i hate in-place families that much more. I would use the former...

Im waiting for us to get all the ceiling tools that we have for roofs. By extrusion, by footprint (we have it) by face, etc...

thanks. I just used an inplace family until I figure it out exactly.

IMHO the in-place ceiling family would be better, as it can host light fixtures. I don't think a roof will host light fixtures.

True. If it has lights i would go that way, i just prefer the Roof by extrusion otherwise as it can be made as one assembly with different layers and edited easily by sketch later on...
