View Full Version : Default Revision Settings

Recently, I was working on a project that has a large number of revisions. I drew a revision cloud in one view and tagged it with no problem. I then went to another view that had not seen too many revisions and did the same thing. I drew the revision cloud and as soon as I was finished, it just disappeared into the ether. I couldn't see it, couldn't roll over and see the outline - nothing.

There followed about a half-hour of cursing and searching, fooling with the visibility graphic settings, etc. Finally, I went to the revisions dialog box and toggled on all 37 of the revisions in the project - and there it was! The missing cloud had been defaulted to a revison that was months old and set to "None" in the Show column. A little bit of experimentation followed that had revision clouds drawin in different views coming in with different revision values. However, a quick perusal of the help file offered no clues as to go about setting the "default" values of a given view.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
