unfortunately no, but that's a wish that's been put forward more than once, hopefully that will be implemented when they re-vamp the text editor to be like word in the next release :) (I have no real information that they are actually doing that, just a wishful prod :))

I don't see how that would be implemented, unless maybe there was something hard-coded into projects and families such that any text label in a family would have a dimension override in the family's type parameters when loaded into a project.
But even still, you would have to go through all the families in the project and override the text for each type.

well, what I was talking about was a "project font". Just we have "By Category" for materials, fonts in families could be set as "By Project" instead of a specific font, so that when loaded, you could change the font in the project and the font in all of those families would change.
Families could also be set to a specific font for special cases or things you don't want to match the standard.
That's what I would imagine anyway...

...the concept already exists in Revit.
Revit can have nested families. These can either be unique to each host family (the default). Or they can be shared (project driven). This only needs to be extended to text and label styles. You would simply need a checkbox for Shared added to Revit. I think this approach would be more flexible than a project font and allow for both text and labels to be addressed at the same time.
