Connecting wall lines showing up in elevations

I'm having a problem with walls perpendicular to exterior walls showing up in elevations. I've tried several methods to clean up these connections, but it seems like it only pushes the problem to another elevation. See example enclosed.

Have you tried editing the wall joins in plan, using the Edit Wall Join tool to see if that works? Maybe changing it from Butt to Miter solves the problem...

Meanwhile you can always use the linework tool to make that line invisible in elevation.

Hmmm. I didn't know there was a bevel v. butt option. I'll give it a try.
