View Full Version : Don't lose dimstyle overrides

When you change dimstyles, Autocad throws out your overrides. I've found this to almost never be the behavior I want. Whenever I switch dimstyles, I always have to then reapply my overrides. The scale is pretty much the only thing I override, but when I do, I generally want it to stay at the same value regardless of which dimstyle I'm using. (The alternative that I've seen a lot of people use - creating a dimstyle for every drawing scale - is a solution I find unacceptable. It leads to an inordinately long list of dimscales.)

Instead of popping up a modal dialog that says "Your overrides will be discarded" and forces you to hit "OK", it would be much nicer if it popped up a dialog asking you if your overrides should be discarded or not, and then kept your overrides if that's what you want.
