Hide column grid lines in section

I have a building where column B5 appears on B,1,2,3,6,7 floors. The column does not appear on floors 4 & 5. In section, can I make the B5 grid line invisible on floors 4 & 5? This is the same as breaking section lines with the zig-zag. Revit seems to "protect" grid lines from this type of manipulation.

In 2009, you can now break grid lines like you can section lines.

However, if the grid bubble is at the top of the upper floors, and you need a bubble on the portion of the grid running through the lower floors, you'll have to add the bubble down at the bottom of the section view, which may or may not be a big deal to you.
