View Full Version : Stray Profile

I created a family (attached) and loaded into our central model. When I did this, I'm getting a stray profile (Tower Dome 1 & Tower Dome 2) showing up in the model. I copy/pasted this profile from another component before I came up with a better, more accurate way to do what I was trying to do.

I can't get this profile to show up in the family editor to delete it. I have purged everything that I can find associated with it, and it still shows up. I have also deleted the component from the central model, purged it and reinserted it. The profile still showed up.

The final thing that I tried was to "Save As" something else and load into the central. The profile showed up on the new one as well.

Please see the attached pics and family file and I ask for any insight that you may have.

Thanks,

Tony

There must be a bug on your file. If you select your model, create a new Generic Model family and paste it there, you will get rid of the problem. I just did it here and works.

You will just have to cut your geometry again since a few voids won't be cutting anything after copying it from one file to another.
