For Jetstream Timeliner is there a way to have the Task Information and Date information that gets shown during the simulate tab movie to get stamped onto exported images and exported animations?

Hi
2 steps really should help you

1)
On Timeliner Tab, simulate> settings> overlay text> edit
add your 'stamp' details
might want to interact with current animation too

2)
Go to file> export> animation
change source to 'timeliner simulation'
choose images or movie

hope this helps

I've done all that. It does not place the date stamp onto the animation or rendered image. Have you tried the above? Are you sure that it works? If it works are you using Vista or XP?

Or share it with them in Freedom 2009 which now has TL playback with the overlay you saved with the nwd

The open gl rendering of timeliner is pretty week. and often times the rendered geometry can not keep up with the schedule. pieces will be missing from view. Also to be able to leverage the quailty of Presenter would be an improvement.

Also I want to be able to embed the timeliner exported movie with the stamp into PowerPoint. So that a casual preseter can use the content created.

Playing an AVI is a lot simpler for people then using Freedom.

You cannot specify to overlay the legend on outputs other than directly from TimeLiner, however you can accomplish the same thing with a quick workaround:

1. set up a view and/or animation with only the objects you want visible
2. in the TimeLiner Tasks tab, collapse your schedule and click the active toggle check box to deactivate the schedule
3a. for a view, simply click on the simulate tab and export the image
3b. for an animation, click on the simulate tab and click the settings button with the desired animation selected in the viewpoints control bar, then use the "link to current animation" toggle to link Timeliner to the animation. also make sure the duration of the TimeLiner sequence and the desired animation is the same. then export an animation, selecting TimeLiner as the output. this will show the overlay in the animation without simulating your schedule
