View Full Version : grey scale
I have run out of reasons as to why my roof plan keeps appearing grey when I print. the print preview looks fine and there's nothing that's activated, the annotations all appear normal but the entire model is grey. This is only happening in the roof plans and not any other view. Any ideas???

It sounds as though the roof/roof edges have been over ridden, or the scale is a change in size so that the lineweights are being reduced. That's two more areas to check on.
yup I checked those and it's neither. scale is the same as the floor plans and nothing has been overriden. I have made a new roof plan and still the same thing is happening... so odd and frustruating!

Is your view range on your roof plans set too high? If yes, try setting it closer to the roof (the cut plane too).

yes I did set it as low as I could go, I remember once seeing a setting for greying objects below, which maybe that's what's happening but I can't find that setting or don't know if I even remember that correctly...

Is there any chance the roof may be on another phase?

I looked at that too... quite a mystery

Try this...
Create a new RCP view of the same level. Copy your annotation from the corrupt view, and "Paste - Current View" into your brand new RCP view.
See if that one behaves better.

Have you figured out a solution to this problem?
I have come across something simuliar to this myself...
