Creating a Rendered Image Problem

This has been tried on 2 machines and on neither does it work

When exporting a rendered image, no matter what we do the image created is just of the plain background, nothing at all on the image.

Can someone explain what is wrong and why this is happening please.

Am i to assume no one has experienced this problem

Or am i to assume no one can fix this problem

Or am i to assume that no one cares..

Not to matter, gonna try the 2009.1 beta version and see if its fixed there... (probably not as i seem to be the only one with this problem)
