I have a radius dimension for which the center point falls outside the plan view limits. I need to dimension the center point, but when I draw a line or ref plane and dimension it, then assign the scope box back to the view, the dimension disappears since the line I just drew is outside the view.

Is there any way to force a dimension to be visible in this situation? Or another way to dimension the centerpoint?

If you use a crop region instead of a scope box, the dimension will remain visible.

When placed on a sheet, the dimension line will extent past the border of course. You need to position the dimension text to be visible on the sheet ( it may not be initially )
