Interior elevations- getting started

Is there something I'm missing to create interior elevations? I have created an elevation for an interior space, but the only choice in the elevation pull down is building elevations. There is no category of interior elevation views.

You probably have purged the elevation type from your file. To get it back, open a new file, switch back to your file where the elevation type is missing and go to File > Transfer Project Standards > Select the new file you just opened > Check only elevation types and transfer it.

If it don't work, just insert an interior elevation tag on the new file, select it, copy and paste into your working file.
