I was watching a video covering the interpolarity between Revit 2009 and 3dsMax 2009. I noticed that there is a new option under Export>3ds Max (FBX)... I tried this on my computer and found that the selection is grayed out. Is the FBX option a plug-in that I have to download?

I have heard, and this movie goes to show, that 3ds Max renders substantially faster than Revit will. This is why I find this important especially after going through 3-4 days of rendering images in Revit 2009. If I were in Max I would have greatly reduced my render times.

You need to be in a 3d view to export to FBX
