Is there a way to indicate a starting point for floor patterns? It would be nice if we could edit the pattern similar to ceiling patterns.

Thanks for replying Glenn, but I guess I need to be more clear on my question.
Let's say I have a 16x16 floor tile that I want to use for a room. I would like to indicate the hatch origin to start the first 16x16 tile cleanly at the corner of the room. It seems I can't control that in Revit. In AutoCAD, you can control the hatch origin and I was wondering if there is a way to do that in Revit.
Thanks.

What Glenn is trying to say in a very vague manner is that you can use the Align command and select the wall face as the destination and then select one of the lines of the floor's surface pattern to move the pattern. Alternately, you put your cursor over one of the floor tile lines and hit tab once until the line highlights and then click to select it. Then, you can use the move or rotate commands to adjust the pattern.

Yes it worked!
Thanks Zoltan. I know it's so AutoCAD, but I didn't know we could do that.

Remeber Eric, this will only work with model patterns not with drafting patterns.

Well, it can work with drafting patterns, but you have to be really good with math and pattern files :D
