I am trying to create a wall style that looks like flat expanded metal for a detail for a steel structure. I created a duplicate of a glass block wall and attempting to add a hatch to it to give the appearence of flat expanded metal. So far I have not had any success doing this. Is it possible to add a hatch to a wall face?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You need to create a material with the surface pattern you want on it, then it will hatch anytime that wall type is used. Take a look at the OOTB wall types, look at the properties of the structure and then the properties of the materials, you will see each material has a surface pattern and a cut pattern you can assign. Note any autocad .pat file can be used. Read the revit.pat file to learn about model vs drafting patterns.
