Am I missing a trick here? Text will align to a centre line in another pice of text or to a left or right align depending on how it is justified. That's fine, but when I want to bring that single log line of text that I just typed into a fixed width, all I can do is work it by eye.
Is there a way to fix the width of a box full of text?
I was going to start out 'am I being stupid here?' But I thought that was just asking for trouble.

One method I employ is to set up text annotation families (there's a template in the Annotation folder), in order to have uniform width text objects.
The other nice thing is these objects can be dimensioned, which I find gives me greater control in placing them.

I don't think that is what I am after Andrew, these are just text notes created from the drafting tab, with various forms of leader.
I'll have a play though

One of the things I am hoping for in future releases is true text justification. It'd be a lot nicer to have things justify to make better looking text blocks.
BTW, Andrew is your avatar Broderick Crawford from the old Highway Patrol show?
