Good afternoon,
I am designing a beautiful chapel and have gotten to the beginning of CD's.
But now I find the architect has changed the datum for the model. I started with an elevation of 100' for my finish first floor , but now they tell me it is really 1043'-6".

I have a survey I linked in today and am trying to make my first toposurface. Those elevations clued me into the problem.

What the heck do I do now? If I try to change the elevation of the model one floor at a time everything is going to get all goofed up for sure. Is it possible? Should I have started the project differently?
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great weekend.

Lock the levels relationship to each other using a dimension string, then move a known level to its new datum using an elevation or section view.

just use tools->locations and coordinates->relocate this project.

do this from an elevation view and go up 943'-6" - works great.

I'd take a look at this tutorial too, you can leave the bldg at "100" and display true elevations as you require. Gives the option of what you display for each level.
