Save 2009 as 2008

My Architect has switched his model to 2009. I cannot open it with 2008. Is there a way for him to save back to 2008?

No way of saving Revit back to a previous release.
You have been forced to upgrade I guess

This feature is only avalible on every other program that u have ever used but this one. (Brilliant!!!!!)

I think by the nature of the program (3D, BIM, etc) and all of the data contained within the model, it just isn't feasible to save it back to a prior version, where some data is different, some data didn't exist in previous versions, and things like that.

Can you save to previous version in Graphisoft ArchiCAD?
