Does anyone know of other companies that have revit window families besides Pella,Anderson and Jelwden. Thanks

At www.bimworld.com, you can find Revit families for Marvin and Efco. (Efco owns Pella, that you've already mentioned.) However, EFCO has a number of commercial windows that are also available in Revit families.

In Revit 2009, use the new Seek tool. At the top right corner, you will see Search Objects Online. Type a term in there such as Window.

This will open the Seek webpage (seek.autodesk.com) and will bring up results of your search from Sweets, BIMWorld, and other manufacturers and content sites. You can then filter your results by file type to find Revit RFA's, or DWGs, or almost any other file type. These can then be downloaded (or iDropped) into your project.

I just learned about this by reading this thread....I have not installed 2009 yet either but I am on 2008.

To my surprise the files (at least the ones that I loaded) are still in 2008 format! I suspected that they would be in 2009 format and I would not be able to use them....Wrong!
