Annoying issues

I'm having problems keeping adjacent roofs aligned, to let gutters and sweeps automatically join/fillet; having to constantly manually align them in a domino effect order.

in addition,

Parts of objects or objects such as walls to be removed (demo'd) are sometimes obstructing the view of new objects occupying the same space (such as doors.) New construction is not consistently on top or overriding demo.


Any ideas on either of these problems?

Try this:

Once you align the roofs, lock the alignment either with the alignment tool or by adding a dimension and locking it.

For the demo stuff, go to settings/phases and lighten the linework for both cut and projection lines under the graphic overide tab. The default is black.
