Need help with coordination between 2 buildings.

I have 2 discreet REVIT files (2 separate buildings). Does anyone know how I can callout details that are shared between the two? My client wants the details to be in one place but cross-referenced back to the sheet they are cut on...which may be two different places; one place in each building.

I haven't been able to figure this one out yet...just dunno how to make a label that will do what I want.

You can call out and detail a linked building model. I recently did this on a project with another building file linked in. I placed an elevation tag in a room of the linked model and I was able to note and dimension the elevation as needed.

The only issue was I had to place another elevation mark in the other file, since the plan view was also from the other file, so I had to create a dummy sheet and place the elevation on that sheet with the same number.

If your plan views of the linked building are in the host file, then this won't be an issue.
