can you combine line styles??

Now that the prototype is complete I was wondering if there is a way of cleaning some of the misc junk that creeped into it. One thing in general is the line styles. once I look into it I noticed several duplicate types of lines just with difference names. is there a way of combining them???

There isn't a really easy way to do this. The best you can do is to:

One at a time go view by view and select all of the objects in each view.

Then use the filter tool (the little funnel on the tool bar) to select just the line type you want to combine.

Once you have all of the lines selected in that view change them to the line type that you want to keep.

When you have done this for every view then delete the line type you want to get rid of.

You can delete these linetypes, (provided they are not defined in a family) but it will force the entities that were on these stles to the default Thin linestyle.

I kind of expected that answer. I was just hopping that there might be something that would work in my favor.
