Set linked file as "Room Bounding" by default

Would there be any disadvantages to setting linked files to be "room bounding" by default? Before I can add a space in an MEP project, I have to click on the link and set this within the properties. Seems like an extra step that could be eliminated.

I would guess compatibility with the previous version is why it is NOT set to "Room Bounding" by default. An old file that had the room boundry lines drawn in the host file would generate a number of errors if the linked walls suddenly became bounding elements as well.

Or at least have a toolbar botton to accomplish the task, something more obvious.
