Hi!
In plan view, when I drag an alignment node, the structure (manhole) remains in place and needs to be moved to the new alignment location. Is there a way of forcing it to follow the alignment? or viceversa?

or

Can a profile view be created from the pipes, without the alignment, so when a structure is moved, the profile updates?

Thanks!
Edgar

Not yet, you are better off griping the structure when you change the alignment, but in reality your alignment should only be referenced into the drawing anyway. To much info in C3D drawings can be bad.

Thanks for your reply shadygrafix,

What do you mean "alignment referenced to the drawing only"? Do you mean just to the surface?

Also, with the original question, what you mean is that it is not possible to do it? Or that you think it should not be attempted for risk of info. overload?

Thanks,
Edgar

He's saying you can't do it. And the information overload is in reference to the alignment not being housed in the drawing you have your pipes in, but should be referenced in through data shortcuts.
