VL Namespace mismatch error

One of my users keeps getting a internal error: VL namespace mismatch. A message keeps popping up asking him to type Y to reset. Any ideas as to what's causing it and how do we fix it?

Is there a specific routine the user is calling that kepps returning the error?

If so it would help to post the code.

Sure, it's been four years since the last post on this thread, but maybe this post will generate some new interest in it.

I just had a user get the same VL namespace mismatch error after using "layiso" from the Express Tools in 2004.

He ESC'd when prompted to enter "Y" and apparently lost several solid fill hatches and lines, and those that did remain were put on a different layer. I couldn't recover any work, either, as the autosave was turned off. Arg. Very mysterious. Never had a problem with the Express Tools before. Help?
