Extremely Slow Export to DWG

Lately when I export drawings for our consultants, my Revit process (and whole computer for that matter crashes) Sometimes it's only when I'm exporting one single view too. Revit uses every bit of resources on my computer to do the export. I have 4GB of RAM and my Revit model variates between 200-250MB, and I apply view templates to the views with coarse detail set. I can't get these exports done and delivered to consultants in a timely manner. Can anyone suggest something for me? Thanks

Try exporting the files to your local C drive and then relocating them later. We have encountered problems when exporting across the network.
