To Cole,
Here are a couple of DB's to look at.
I used a circle with a scale param. and tied the parts to it so that when I scaled the circle they followed.
Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Hey Bill,
To quote Christopher Walken's Continental (on SNL), "Wow! Wowee-wow-wow!" Alright, I've got the basic one kind figured out, but the pinwheel make take me some time. I like what you can do with the scale action, but unfortunately it doesn't allow you to stretch multiple items and maintain their relative distance from each other. My request centers around the dynamic blocks we use with our windows. Take the muntin block for example: I can stretch it in two dimensions with two separate handles. It just seems to me it would be simple to stretch one corner diagonally and have the rectangular block keep its shape, but simply stretch out simultaneously in the X and Y directions. As soon as you put two stretch actions on, say, one XY parameter, the stretching of one corner gets "doubled up" and your rectangle immediately becomes diamond-shaped, or rhomboid (okay, kudos to the forum's spell-check for having that in the dictionary). Obviously if we attach a scale action instead of a stretch, the muntins scale along with the rectangle, instead of keeping their fixed width. I see in the Pinwheel that you have multiple stretches tied together with a single scale action (somehow that is far beyond me at the moment), and I also see that when you "scale" the pinwheel in and out, it scales the objects attached to the ends of the pinwheel down and up, respectively. I'm fairly new to this, and I feel like I'm missing something obvious. I haven't seen it anywhere else yet, though, so maybe it can't be done? I hope it can. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you have any input or need further clarification.
Sincerely,
Cole

Figured it out! So simple. The easiest way to do it is to put the X and Y parameter handles on top of each other. Then another tweak or two to get it to work right.
Upgraded my muntins:
