When you are drafting a line is there a way to input the angle at which the line is going to be placed at. I know you input the length and shows the angle, but I can't seem to get the angle to become active so I can input a certain number.

You can do it after placement but not during placement using your temporary dimensions.

Don't have Revit up at the moment so I can't test my theory but did you try hitting TAB to switch between temporary dimensions? Similar to dyn input in acad.

The Tab function for switching between temporary dimensions doesn't work in Revit like it does in AutoCAD. Wishlist item? .......You have to do it like Brian said. You can also change the angle increments that your cursor snaps to in the Snaps dialog box.

Yeah tabbing between temp. dimension input would be nice. Otherwise you have to place the line the length you want (click to start, enter dimension, enter), then set the angle (pick the line, click on angle, type in angle, enter), and then move it into place (pick the line, start the Move function, pick the start point, pick the end point).
It's a 3-step procedure that could be reduced to: [click to start, already in the correct place] type dimension [tab] type angle [enter} and be done.

Yeah, I didn't think so but I hadn't tried it so I couldn't say for sure. I think that should definitely be on the wishlist. One would think it's an easy add since they already have it in ACAD but then again, I'm not a programmer so what do I know.
I had a hunch that was the answer. I think that is something that should be incorportated. It's a function that is used by a lot of cad programs out there. I did find in my messing around with pushing buttons that if you hold done shift it does an axis lock, which I didn't know.
