Hi

we do have sloped panels on a project we're doing. The issue is that we would like to only see the outline ( cut ) of the curtain panel, rather than see the cut and the elevation of the curtain panel ( since its sloped ). I tried modifying the view range but that didnt help. I also thought of turning the projection lines of the curtain panel off, but no help there either. could someone help?

i'm attaching a screenshot here .

thanks a lot

You might have to experiment a little to get the look you are after.
If you are using 2009 you can try adjusting the depth clipping. It can be found right below the view range in the instance parameters of the view.
You can also override the visibility of the projection lines for the curtain system and mullion categories in the view to white.

Hi

thanks for the update. I tried to do exactly the same via VG, but didnt work. When i selected the panels and used the overrides , it worked! wonder if its a bug!

I have another problem. I would like to see the curtain panel as cut at the floor level, without disturbing the view range of the interiors of the building. Do you think this is possible? i think we can use Plan region, but wont this be too tedious? and can i copy a plan region from one level to another?

thanks again!!
