Slab Edge Profile not loading under Floor-Slab Edge

Can't make a slab edge profile that is recognized by the Host Sweep -Floor Slab Edge tool.

Using Profile-Hosted family template.
In family categories and parameters, setting Profile Usage to Slab Edge.

After loading the profile into the project it shows up in the Project Browser under Profiles and not under Floors, Slab Edge. The Host Sweep -Floor Slab Edge tool is listing profiles only from Floors,Slab Edge and not from Profiles.

What am I missing here?

What is listed under Floors > Slab Edge is all the different defined slab edge types. Each type has a profile associated with it.

So you need to duplicate one of the Slab Edge types listed, go into the properties and pull down the Profile box to change it to the profile you just loaded. You can also define the material of your new Slab Edge.

Also, make sure your profile family usage is set to either Generic or Slab Edge. To check it, edit your profile family and go to Settings > Family Category and Parameters > Profile Usage. This will define on which categories the profile will be available.
