just wondering why in camera view
the paterns do not show
such as vertical patern to show siding...
it does show in all the orthographic views.

are you using phases? If so be sure the phase of the view matches what you wish to display.

view phase is set to none
and hidden lines

only get a faint blue where the siding should be
also roof shingles do not show
as they do in front back and side views

would think the visablility should be the same as those in the othro views.

Are you using drafting or model surface patterns?
Drafting patterns will show in basic ortho views but not 3D.
I guess the camera view would prob be the same.

are they curved surfaces? just throwing that out there...

We have discovered that patterns will not show up on certain non-linear faces, depending on how the faces were built.

Also, you say "camera view"... Do the patterns not show up in ANY 3D view or just in camera views..?

Make the size of the camera view larger, and the patterns should show up. Click on the crop region of the camera view, then click on the button at the top. The default camera view size is 6" x 4 1/2" for Imperial users. I usually change it to 20" or 24" wide, and I click on the option to maintain proportions for the height.
