Ed Foster has been writing about concerns in the computer world for a long, long time. EULAs (End User License Agreements) have been a hot topic lately. Ed thought it was time to begin comparing and contrasting and scoring some EULAs. For his first comparison, he compares AutoCAD and PhotoShop EULAs. He looks at positives as well as negatives. Interesting reading. Interesting results.

Maybe I'm the only one who has never bothered reading one of those. They seem to be more of a formality than a real hindrance.

Perhaps you'd be interested to know that Autodesk's EULA states that if you file bankruptcy or enter into a financial arrangement of some sort to deal with creditors that your license to use the software is void. Read the EULA for specifics naturally...
