I have drawn up a pump frame with Angle and RHS sections now I would like to see the dimension lines that extend on to the model. Also can I see the hidden detail like I would with a 2 D drawing?

Use UCS coordinate to dimensioning
Use flatten to convert it in 2D.

Look up the "SOL....." commands in Help.
