How is everyone coordinating the title blocks with engineers using Revit? In the world of AutoCAD, we simply update our title block and email it to everyone and they replace the current one they are using with the new one. In Revit this is different.
Our structural engineer is using Revit. They took the original title block family from our project file and everything works fine except for some custom labels I added that list the associate firms working on this project. These labels make it easier for us as we repeat this information on the cover sheets (usually 2 volumes). For us it is one place to edit the information that appears on the covers and the sheet files - nice-n-Revit like . However this doesn't work with our consultants.:(
Should we just instruct the engineer to edit the family so it appears how we want or should we abandon our custom labels? Thoughts?
Thanks
