View Full Version : How to use old 2009 deployment with new build?

I've created (2) deployments for the original 2009 deployment 32bit and 64bit. Now the new build is out. Before I rebuild the deployment I see there's an option there to add a service pack. The way I read this is that I could edit the existing deployment and some how point to the new service pack. Is this right?

The deployment wizard says "to include service packs, you must extract and save the MSP file. Then, you must browse to locate the MSP file(s) and add them to the list below." Say wa?

I'll probably just rebuild the deployment.

Thoughts?

I think that "include service pack" is a red herring. You have to create a new deploy.

The "service pack" thing is more of an AutoCAD feature that isn't really used with Revit (at least yet)... a new deployment is what you'll need since what is available isn't a service pack.
