tags and keys with background opaque

have tags and keys over floor patterns
but see no option to make especially the text with opaque bg

Select the tag you want to change. Pick the "edit family" button above. Once in the family, you can select the label, go to properties, edit that type, and change the text background to opaque.

You can then load the changed tag back into your project.

Or you can substitute the lines of the box (or the hexagon, or etc...) with a masking region.
I prefer that way.

If the tag is something like a partition tag, or window tag that has a shape around it (a square for example) you can also add a white filled region or masking region while editing the family.

Masking region is what you want. White filled region exports as solid filled when going to AutoCAD.
