Hiding or Deleting the graphic "box" in tags

I've noticed that sometimes when I modify an annotation tag I sometimes deal with tags that have a graphic "box" associated with them. When I look at the tag in the family editor, the box is not there, then, when I load it into the project, the box graphic shows itself.

I have a particular tag that does this now. I simply want to hide or delete this "box" in the family editor so it does not show itself in the project when I see the tag. Any ideas :)

Edit the tag family, open Visibility/Graphics dialog, click Annotation Categories Tab, check the Show Annotation check box. The linework is just "hiding" in the family editor so the tag label is visible in the thumbnail preview.
