Building Pad Cut Fill

Hi!
I just created a Building Pad in a 3d site. The pad shows up just fine but when I make a Topo Schedule the cut and fill are blank but it shows the the Projected Area and the Surface Area.

How do I get the schedule to report the Cut and Fill? What am I missing?

Cutt/Fill is calculated by comparing the volumes of the original topo and the "graded topo".

If you follow the procedure for doing a graded region you can get it to work.

1.) Select your present topo (remove the pad) and move it back one phase, or set your view to a phase later than your topo.

2.) Using the graded region tool, select your topo, and copy it into the new phase, changing nothing.


3.) Add your pad to the new topo surface.

The cut /fill will now report the volume difference between the two topos.
