Can I disable the Invert Background color option?

Is this just a peave of yours or do you have a good argument for forcing that on your users?

I personally enjoy the white background and i cringe at folks who change it to black. But, i'm not the one looking at their screen all day.

Perhaps he wants to keep other users from changing to black, thus forcing them to depart from the AutoCAD ways? ;)

I would also. In my mind, Revit was ‘meant’ to be WYSIWYG. I sympathize with those for whom the contrast is too harsh, but the black background is a subliminal crutch for some.

I agree. WYSIWYG. With line colors also...

I have started softening up on changing some colors of annotation linework, like column grids, section cuts, dimensions...but i hold firm to keep all model/drawing elements as Black lines. This way i can manage some form of control over the transition madness. Nothing worse than a newby going into a project and spending the first two days reinventing the cad color-pen wheels. GAWD.

But screen color, eh. That just gives me something to jab them over when i walk by...
