last week I had AutoCAD 2009 installed and now when I go to open a file, the list of files in my file dialog box does not show up. I have to manually go back and select the project folder again for the list of files to show up in the dialog box. It happens every time I go to open a file or do a save as. Does anyone have any clue what is going on?
I updated my video card driver thinking maybe that would help, but that did not fix it.
I've attached some images to show what it looks like, and what it should look like.

This problem maybe it is about Customization folders options in Windows.
Check the folder options?

It looks more like a Windows problem than an acad one. Do other applications shown any strange behaviour during File\Open?

I agree. I think it may be a windows or video card problem. I found that when I have AutoCAD maximized across both screens the file list will not show up, however if I stretch the right side of the screen about 1/8" to the left so that it is no longer fully maximized across both screens the file list will show up. Weird.
No, other programs do not have the same problem.

Most likely graphics driver then. Are your drivers the latest?
