Working in Local twice?

There have been a couple times when I open up my local file the worksharing monitor lists me as working in the file twice at the same time. See attached. Anyone know what's causing this?

This is reportedley a syncronization issue that usually clears up shortly after beginning to use it. Often after a STC or other's doing a STC. They are aware of it but I'm not sure that it can be completely eliminated since the application is "watching" from "outside" so to speak.

Would this have any connection with another random error I am getting (see attached)?
